Hermès Flagship Windows

head of Production, Production & Fabrication Design, Build
Hermès unveiled a set of window displays at their New York flagship, timed with the holidays and the launch of a new fragrance. Designed by an artist, the windows transform Hermès’ signature scarf patterns into intricate, 3D wooden sculptures. From directly in front, the layers align into a perfect image, shifting in a dynamic parallax effect as you walk by.

I led production on the project, taking the artist’s intricate drawings and turning them into real, buildable objects. The designs were made with little consideration for fabrication, pushing the limits of what was technically possible. I guided R&D, tested new methods, and developed novel production solutions to make the vision achievable.

I worked directly with the artist to preserve the ambitious design with almost no need for compromise. The finished windows were among the most intricate Hermès had ever produced, and were so well received that the brand saved the displays, shipping them to Paris for archiving.

Nike Soho Vapormax Launch

Creative, production & Fabrication Design, Build
For the global release of the Vapormax sole, Nike needed a striking centerpiece for their new Soho flagship. However, they came short on time with only a hand drawn pencil sketch and the concept of an “air table.” I took that creative guidance and finalized the design, creating a glass-topped table—filled with Vapormax soles—with hidden perimeter vents blasting air across guests’ hands as they reached for a sneaker.

This early career project allowed me to bridge from production to creative, moving beyond fabrication into the design itself. I finalized the visuals, worked out how to make it functional, and led the build on an accelerated timeline. I also developed a set of pedestals that “trapped” vapor in illuminated acrylic.
